„Dust in the Wind” este titlul unei melodii lansate de catre formatia Kansas in 1977.  Scris de catre Kerry Livgren, a fost primul cantec acustic, muylt diferit de catre melodiile lor in stil progresiv precum „Carry On Wayward Son”

Partea de chitara este cantata de catre doi interpreti pe chitare cu sase coarde, una in mod normal, cealalta in stil  Nashville tuning, astfel ca prin suprapunerae acestora sa rezulte un ton asemanator cu a unei chitare cu 12 coarde. Partea mediana cuprinde o foarte disticta parte cantata la vioara de catre Robby Steinhardt.

Versurile sunt filozofice si cu un mesaj depresiv. In ciuda (sau din cauza?) versurilor, melodia s-a bucurat, de-a lungul vremii, de un mare succes.
