„Love Hurts” Nazareth (1975)

„Love Hurts” este numele unui cantec scris si compus de catre Boudleaux Bryant. Mai intai interpretat de catre The Everly Brothers in iulie 1960, cantecul este mai bine cunsocut prin hitul din 1975 a formatiei rock Nazareth.

Cantecul a fost introdus mai intai in decembrie 1960 pe discul A Date with The Everly Brothers, dar nu a fost lansat niciodata ca single de catre Everly Brothers. Cea dintai versiune single a melodiei a fost cea a lui Roy Orbison; o inregistrare a lui Emmylou Harris si Gram Parsons a fost inclusa in albumul postum a lui Parson, Grievous Angel. 

Inregistrarea de cel mai mare succes apartine formatiei rock Nazareth, care a facut din cantec una dintre baladele celebre rock. Tot cei din Nazareth au modificat unul dintre versurile cantecului, „love is like a stove/it burns you when it’s hot” fiind schimbat in „love is like a flame/it burns you when it’s hot”.
