„Pink Moon” is the opening track from Nick Drake‘s 1972 album of the same name.

The song is unlike the other songs on Pink Moon because it has a short piano piece during the interlude, while other songs on the album only feature vocals and guitar played by Nick Drake.

The song was used in a successful Volkswagen Cabrio commercial in 1999.
