Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven

Există cântece care își depășesc epoca. Stairway to Heaven aparține acestei categorii. Nu pentru că ar fi „cea mai bună melodie rock din toate timpurile”. Asemenea clasamente sunt, în fond, forme sofisticate de contabilitate aplicată gustului personal. Ci pentru că reprezintă aproape perfect ceea ce Led Zeppelin a fost în momentul său de maximă creativitate: blues, folk, hard rock, poezie, virtuozitate instrumentală și experiment reunite într-o singură construcție.
